"New identity verification process" y problemas para aportar fondos
Buenos días.
Desde ayer no puedo realizar aportes de capital a Peerberry desde Openbank, ¿alguien ha tenido problemas similares? Hoy recibo un email con asunto "Information on updating the identity verification process" y pienso que pudiera estar relacionado, aunque dan un plazo hasta el 21 de julio para implementar el nuevo proceso. ¿Creéis que puede haber relación entre ambas cosas? El correo original es este: Information on updating the identity verification process Dear Investor, We would like to inform you that PeerBerry has implemented improvements to the clients' identity verification process. New investors have been verifying their identity under the new process for some time already. Previously registered clients will be asked to complete the new verification process by July 21 at the latest, so you have enough time to be prepared for it. If you would like to verify your identity under the new order sooner than July 21, please contact our Client Support and our specialists will assist you in doing it. You will find the new identity verification feature in your PeerBerry account. To perform any transaction on your PeerBerry account starting from July 21, you will be asked to perform your identity verification under a new process in case it will not be done before. Why improvements to the clients' identity verification process are being implemented? On purpose to make the identity verification process more efficient and automated, PeerBerry chose a business partner Veriff, which offers a smart identity verification solution. For most of you, this solution is not new, as the same partner is used by other financial industry players. To have all data updated in the same way and format, we will ask you to re-perform your identity verification according to the new process. How to implement your identity verification? The identity verification is very simple. All the process might take up to 10 minutes. To start your verification, please prepare your passport or ID card for your verification. Make sure you are in a well-lit room. When verifying your identity, please make sure your passport or ID is not expired, your full name, document ID number, and date of birth are clearly visible on the images. Why do you need to verify your identity on PeerBerry? According to European laws and regulations, we are bound to verify the identity of our investors. We follow all applicable laws and requirements for the payment industry on purpose to providing a safe marketplace and preventing financial crimes. That includes verifying the identity of our investors to make sure it’s really you creating/using an account. Which documents are accepted as proof of identity? - for EU citizens: your passport or national identity card (ID) - for non-EU citizens: your passport Which data will be stored during verification? We’ll store the following data: - photo of your face - a photo of your identity document (front and back side in case of ID) - a photo of you holding your identity document We'll handle your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other national binding laws on personal data protection and will only use it to comply with our legal obligations. Me acaban de informar desde Openbank que el banco con el que trabaja PeerBerry, Paysera LT UAB, ya NO PERTENECE a la zona SEPA desde el 8 de junio, por lo cual no es posible realizar transferencias a su cuenta.
¿Y ahora qué? |

En la web:
https://es.ibancalculator.com/bic_und_iban.html se introduce cualquier número de cuenta y devuelve sus características. Si se pone la de Paysera que indica Peerberry, se muestra que es SEPA. |

Por seguir informando, creo que el fallo viene de que Openbank no ha actualizado el código BIC/SWIFT de Paysera, la entidad con la que trabaja PeerBerry, porque la fecha a partir de la que me dijeron que fallaban coincide con la que me informa la plataforma en este correo de hoy:
Thank you for your email. Our payment provider “Paysera” belongs to SEPA. Please note that Paysera has recently changed the BIC code (few month ago) and old Bic code has completely expired on 2020-06-09. Information was updated in our homepage as well. All the payments from 06.09 executed using the old BIC code will not be accepted. Please ask Your bank to update information regarding BIC code in their system. |
